Conya was founded in 2002 and was focusing on tribal house sound mainly.
In 2006 Henri Kohn became the new A&R and he took the label into deeper realms. Nowadays it stand for quality in deep house and electronic dance music. Since then Conya released 20 vinyl (+digital) singles and 14 digital only singles.
The label features the crème of the deep house scene like Jay Tripwire, Brazilian Soul Crew, Robert Owens, Foremost Poets, Sebastian Davidson, Estroe, Can7, Matthew Bandy & Jevne, Luckystars, Larse, Groovenauts, Jay West, Kelvin K, Edmund, Haldo and many others. Furthermore Conya discovered and powered young artists like Sol-G from Southafrica, Replika & Da Funk from Switzerland, Jota Wagner, Kidcult & Tarek from Brazil, Alex Douche (Russia), The Nearly Man (Spain) and so on.
The label headhoncho Henri Kohn has a wide horizon of house music, so the style of Conya can´t be pigeonholed. From soulful, deep stuff to banging tech house everything is possible, as long at its got soul.
Conya releases are played by djs like Osunlade, Laurent Garnier, Dennis Ferrer, Sharam (Deep Dish), Roger Sanchez, Rocco (Rodamaal), Mike Dunn, Michel de Hey, Halo, Motorcitysoul, Groove Armada and many others…
